What is Vanta?+
A simulated trading platform built by the team behind Taoshi. Pass a one-step Classic evaluation, keep 100% of rewards by default, and grow to a Pro account with up to $1,000,000 in demo capital.
What is the difference between Classic and Pro?+
Classic is the one-step evaluation you buy, sizes $5,000 to $100,000. Pro is a promotion at Vanta’s discretion, offered on $50,000 and $100,000 accounts: up to $1,000,000 in demo capital under its own rulebook.
How does the Classic evaluation work?+
One step, every size. Reach a 10% target on a simulated account inside a 5% static and a 5% daily loss limit. No time limit, no minimum days, no consistency rule. Read the rules.
Who can join?+
Anyone can start a Classic evaluation. Identity verification (KYC) happens once, when your scaled account is activated, before rewards are paid.
Am I trading with real money?+
No. Classic and Pro accounts are simulated, with real-time market data. Rewards are real, paid weekly on your simulated performance.
What is the performance target?+
Classic: 10%, one step, any size. Pro challenge: 6% with an all-time Calmar ratio of at least 1.75, after a minimum of 90 days.
How do the two loss limits work?+
Both are measured on equity, including unrealized PnL. Static: never more than 5% below your starting balance. Daily: never more than 5% below start-of-day equity, UTC day. Breach either and the account closes.
Is there a time limit, minimum trading days or consistency rule?+
None on Classic. Place one trade within 60 days to keep the account active. The Pro challenge runs at least 90 days and adds consistency and martingale rules.
What buying power do I get?+
Every order is checked per pair, per asset class and across the portfolio. Choose Base (included), Boost I or Boost II at purchase; evaluation and scaled Classic accounts share the same limits. See the limits.
What are the spreads, fees and slippage?+
They vary by asset class and are published in full on the Rules page. See fees and spreads.
Which markets can I trade?+
Every evaluation is All Markets: 500+ tradable instruments across crypto, forex, equities, indices and commodities, in one account. Pro trades a liquidity-reviewed list. See the markets.
Which platform do I trade on?+
The Vanta Trading Desk, with institutional-grade real-time data for simulated execution across all five asset classes.
Are there restrictions on trading style?+
None on Classic. Manual, algorithmic, intraday, swing and news trading are all allowed inside the loss limits, if the strategy is your own. Pro adds consistency and martingale rules.
Can I hold trades overnight or over the weekend?+
Yes, wherever the market is open. Crypto trades 24/7; forex, commodities, indices and equities follow their market hours.
Can I copy trades?+
Only your own strategy. Third-party copy trading is not allowed and results in immediate disqualification from your evaluation or scaled account.
What happens when I pass the evaluation?+
Your scaled Classic account activates immediately, with the same loss limits and buying power. Weekly rewards start from the day you pass. On a $50,000 or $100,000 account, Vanta may then move you to Pro at its discretion.
Do scaled accounts have a target or time limit?+
No. A scaled Classic account has neither; you are paid weekly on simulated realized profit at your split. Neither does funded Pro.
Can my scaled account be breached?+
Yes. The same two loss limits apply. On breach the account closes and you can start a new evaluation at any time. A payout never moves either threshold.
Why does Vanta pay up to 100%?+
Vanta’s business is copy trading its best traders with live capital, not registration fees. It follows its traders into the market, does not hedge against your positions and does not need you to fail.
What are Pro accounts?+
The account Vanta scales its best traders into. Move to Pro at Vanta’s discretion, on $50,000 and $100,000 accounts. Grow up to $1M in capital at no additional cost, with more buying power under stricter risk rules.
How do I qualify for Pro?+
Promotion is offered on $50,000 and $100,000 Classic accounts, at Vanta’s discretion; a published qualification bar is coming. Pass Classic, trade well, get paid — traders with a strong reward record can be moved into Pro.
What happens when I’m promoted?+
You receive up to $1,000,000 in demo capital, sized at Vanta’s discretion, at no cost. Close your Classic positions and begin, or take a one-week grace period in which you can only reduce or close them. Anything still open at the end of the week is closed, and rewards earned that week are paid. Your weekly rewards double for the length of the Pro challenge.
Do I keep getting paid while I take the Pro challenge?+
Yes, and they double. Your weekly reward is your Pro account’s return, applied to your Classic account size, then doubled — a 100% bonus. On a $100,000 Classic account, a 1% return during the Pro challenge pays $2,000.
What are the Pro rules?+
At least 90 days, a 6% target and a 1.75 Calmar ratio, with 5% daily and 8% end-of-day trailing loss limits, plus consistency and martingale rules. Your split travels with you. Calmar, consistency, martingale and concentration limits.
How does martingale detection work?+
It applies to Pro accounts only, in the Pro challenge and on funded Pro. On each pair, over the last 10 days, it flags the order that makes your third size increase while the pair is in a loss, each increase to at least 1.5× an earlier size. The first flag is a warning; a second flag at least 3 days later goes to manual review and may end the account. Positions under 3% of the pair's maximum size and orders placed while the pair is in profit don't count. How martingale detection works.
What can I trade on Pro?+
A liquidity-reviewed list, updated quarterly: crypto, US equities and ETFs, commodities, indices and FX, each with per-pair and class limits. See the Pro list.
What if I don’t want to be promoted?+
Promotion only comes after you pass Classic on a $50,000 or $100,000 account, and it is Vanta's call. If you are promoted, you move to Pro with your rewards continuing throughout, doubled for the length of the challenge.
How do I get from Classic to a Pro account?+
Four stages: Classic, Earn, Grow, Pro. Pass Classic once and your weekly rewards start the day you pass. On a $50,000 or $100,000 account Vanta can move you up to Grow, where your rewards pay double, and on to a Pro account of up to $1,000,000 with your split unchanged.
What happens if I breach on Pro?+
Hard breaches (the 5% daily loss or the 8% trailing loss) end the account. A second martingale flag goes to manual review and can end it too. On funded Pro, a soft breach (Calmar) defers that week’s rewards until resolved; they are never forfeited. During the Pro challenge your weekly rewards continue, doubled.
What happens if I fail Grow or Pro?+
If you fail Grow, the Pro challenge, you return through Classic with a fresh account and 50% off your next Classic evaluation; pass again and you go back to Grow. If a funded Pro account breaches, you return through Classic, and passing again takes you straight back to Pro, with no Pro challenge.
How do rewards work?+
Weekly, on the simulated realized profit of your scaled account, at your split — 100% by default. A payout never reduces your account equity or moves any breach threshold.
How are rewards delivered?+
Bank transfer or USDC. Every reward is on the public Payout Ledger, and USDC rewards are verifiable onchain.
Does Vanta take any of my rewards?+
Only the share set by the split you chose at purchase: 60/40, 70/30, 80/20, 90/10 or 100/0. Choose 100/0 and Vanta takes nothing, on Classic and on Pro.
Is the same profit ever paid twice?+
No. Eligible PnL is netted against prior losses and prior payouts. That is netting, not an equity deduction — a payout never reduces your equity or your thresholds.
What does the evaluation cost?+
One fee, paid once, set by account size and split. Sizes run $5,000 to $100,000; the default is $100,000 on 100/0 at $599, and every account is listed below its regular price. See every price.
What are buying power boosts?+
Add-ons chosen at purchase. Base is included; Boost I and Boost II raise every limit for a small addition scaled to size. See the boosts.
Why is there a fee?+
It is a participation fee for the evaluation, not a deposit. Vanta’s business is copy trading its traders, not fee revenue, which is why a lower split is priced lower.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Crypto, debit and credit cards, and bank transfer. Card and bank payments are processed through Stripe; crypto through NowPayments.
Can I change my size, split or boost later?+
No. Size, split and buying power are set at purchase and locked for the life of the account. For a different configuration, start a new evaluation once the current one completes.
Can I run more than one evaluation at once?+
Yes, up to two per person: one $50,000 or $100,000 account, plus one $5,000, $10,000 or $25,000 account. Each runs its own strategy, with no mirroring or opposing positions across them. One account already covers all five asset classes.
Do I get new credentials for each evaluation?+
Yes. Each account has its own trading credentials.
Is Vanta regulated?+
Vanta Trading (Taoshi VT Services) is a technology provider running simulated trading evaluations. It is not a broker: it holds no customer deposits and does not trade against you.
Can Vanta deny a reward?+
Eligible rewards are paid as calculated for traders who follow the rules, and withheld only for a rules or policy violation. On funded Pro, a soft breach defers a reward; it never forfeits it.
Is my data secure?+
Yes. All account data, reward distributions and performance records follow strict security and privacy standards.
Is Vanta Labs the same as a Pro account?+
No. Vanta Labs is a coming-soon agentic research product. Its research tiers are Labs plans, not Classic or Pro trading accounts.
