Introducing Pro Accounts

Introducing Vanta Pro Accounts — a $100K Standard account starts at $299 and scales to up to $1M in simulated capital

Prop firms make money when traders fail. We built Vanta to make money when traders win. Pro accounts are how.

The short version: a $100K Standard account starts at $299. Trade it the way a professional would, and you can be promoted to up to $1M in simulated capital at no extra cost.

That sounds like it can't be a business, and on the old model it isn't. Giving out $1M accounts is not how prop firms make money. Identifying the best traders in the world is worth far more than any evaluation fee. That's what Pro accounts are for.

The old model

You pay a fee to take an evaluation. Fail, and the firm keeps the fee. Pass, and the firm now owes you a share of what you make. Your success costs them money.

This is B-booking: the firm is on the other side of your trades, so it wins when you lose. Think about what that does to every rule they write. Harder rules mean more failed evaluations and more fee revenue. The incentive is to bank on you failing.

Where the industry is going

The industry has a name for the opposite approach: A-booking — where a firm's interests sit alongside its traders rather than against them. That is the model Pro accounts are built for.

Standard is where traders are found. Pro is where they are scaled.

Standard is open to everyone. Our system watches how you trade a standard account. If you are already trading like someone who has a Pro account, you will be considered for promotion — a larger account, up to 10x the simulated capital at no charge, plus a new 90-day evaluation under a stricter rulebook.

Price

A Standard account runs from $14 to $999, and you build that price yourself in the evaluation configurator on the site (not live yet). Three choices: account size, rewards split, and buying power.

Account size. Five sizes — $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K and $100K in simulated capital.

Rewards split. This is the dial that sets your price. Spend less up front and you share more of your rewards; pay more up front and you keep more.

On a $100K account:

  • 60/40$299
  • 70/30$399
  • 80/20$499
  • 90/10$649
  • 100/0$799

The ladder scales down with the size.

$5K account is $14 at 60/40 up to $39 at 100/0, $25K runs $74 to $199, and $50K runs $149 to $399.

Buying power. Base is included with every account.

Boost I and Boost II are optional, chosen at purchase, and priced off your account size: on a $100K account that's +$100 and +$200, on $50K it's +$50 and +$100, down to +$5 and +$10 on a $5K.

So the $999 ceiling is a $100K account at the 100/0 split with Boost II — the largest size, all of the rewards, the most buying power. The $14 floor is a $5K account at 60/40 with no boost. Everything in between is yours to configure.

Your split follows you to Pro. Choose 100/0 on a $100K Standard and you still keep 100% when that becomes a $1M Pro account. You lock in your economics before you scale, not after — and the promotion itself costs you nothing.

The rules

Standard is one step: a 10% target and two loss limits.

  • Static loss limit, 5%. Equity can never be more than 5% below your starting balance. It does not trail your PnL upward.
  • Daily loss limit, 5%. Equity can never drop more than 5% below your start-of-day equity in a UTC day. It resets every day.

That's it. No time limit, no minimum days, no consistency rule. News trading, weekend holding and your own bots are all allowed.

Pro keeps the daily limit and adds a quality bar, because a Pro account carries up to ten times the size. A strategy worth scaling has to survive more than one good week.

  • Return target, 6%.
  • EOD trailing limit, 8%. Replaces the static limit. Your end-of-day equity can never be more than 8% below your end-of-day high.
  • Calmar ratio, 1.75. Return divided by max drawdown, since day one. 7% on a 4% drawdown passes. 6% on 4% does not. It scores how you made the money, not just how much.
  • Consistency, 20%. No single day can be more than 20% of your total return, with each day counted at no more than 1.5%. It filters out one lucky day.
  • Martingale detection. Adding to a losing position three times, at 1.5x an earlier size, gets a warning. A second flag gets a review.

A hard breach — the daily 5%, the trailing 8%, or a second martingale flag — ends the account. A soft breach — consistency or Calmar — only pauses rewards. You keep trading, withheld rewards are deferred rather than forfeited, and they are released when you recover.

How promotion works

The system watches how you trade a Standard account and sees if you are already trading like someone who has a Pro account.

System selected traders are reviewed by a human, and we promote at our discretion. Trading to the Pro rules with a Standard account makes you a candidate; it does not guarantee promotion. There is no timetable. Some traders will be promoted after a week, others after three months or longer. It depends on how you trade, not how long you have waited or how much you have made. Asking to be considered does not speed the decision up.

Two traders with the same return can look nothing alike to us. Don't measure yourself against someone else's promotion.

When you're promoted

You get a one-week grace period to close your Standard positions, and you keep the rewards earned in that week. Your Pro account opens with up to 10x the simulated capital.

If you don't want the Pro account, you can close your positions, request a refund and leave the platform.

Rewards don't stop during the Pro challenge. You are paid on your Pro account's return, scaled to your original Standard size, at your split. Register a $100K Standard, get promoted to a $1M Pro, generate $20K PnL in a week, and your reward is ($20K ÷ $1M) × $100K = $2K, before your split.

The Pro challenge runs a minimum of 90 days with no maximum. Nothing expires, no clock forces you to trade, and taking longer costs you nothing.

If you fail Pro, you re-enter through Standard at half price. Pass Standard again and you are promoted back automatically.

Payouts

A payout does not reduce your account equity. Withdraw your rewards and your drawdown room is untouched; your breach thresholds don't move. At other firms, a withdrawal shrinks your cushion. Not here.

Paid weekly, at your split, in USDC on-chain or in SN8, our network token, if you elect it.

Vanta is built on Bittensor. The rules are open source, and every reward distribution is listed publicly with its rail, date and transaction reference.

One clarification: eligible PnL is computed after prior losses and rewards. You can't be paid twice on the same PnL. That's netting, not an equity deduction.

If you already trade with us

Nothing is being taken away. Your rules are unchanged: one step, a 10% target, the 5% static and 5% daily limits, no time limit, no consistency rule. The split you chose is still yours, and it still follows you to Pro.

What's new: your buying power went up, and Pro is a real destination rather than an idea. You don't need to do anything.

The markets

One account, every asset class:

  • Crypto: 29 pairs, BTC, ETH and SOL down to the alts.
  • Forex: 28 pairs, the 7 USD majors and the crosses.
  • Commodities: Gold, Silver, Copper, Platinum, WTI Crude and Natural Gas.
  • Indices: S&P 500, Nasdaq 100 and MSCI South Korea futures.
  • Equities: 700+ US stocks and ETFs.

Pro trades the deepest slice of that list — 15 crypto pairs, 733 US equities and ETFs, all 28 FX pairs, all 6 commodities and 3 indices.

Who is Pro for

Traders who already have a strategy and want more capital behind it. We are not here to teach you to trade, and every rule above is designed to filter out the one-lucky-payout approach. If you can trade conservatively, consistently and with control, this was built for you.

What's next

Pro accounts, the new website, and new pricing all go live this week. We have an AMA on Wednesday, same time as always, where we can dive in deeper. Ask any questions you may have in AMA questions.

All accounts are simulated. Vanta Trading is a technology provider and does not provide financial services. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.

Standard is where traders are found.
